Yup... Moonshine nailed it. You put it under your tongue and it dissolves very quickly. This method allows whatever you're taking to enter your bloodstream almost instantly and bypass your stomach and absorption through your bowels, so it's quicker and is better absorbed. Not expensive either.

I don't take any pills whole, they are either broken up or mixed with food.

I had a very painful clog once from nuts, then it took several days before the stoma calmed down enough to get a bag on.

You can buy Vit D on Amazon and liquid with a dropper… Works well. I use a pill crusher (Wal-Mart) for some pills, and it works great!
I have an ileostomy.
