I'm fairly new here so forgive me if this question has been asked before.

While I've browsed through user profiles I've noticed many people are divorced, separated or not married and I'm curious as to whether having an ostomy has played any part in this, either as a rejection by a partner or a reluctance to get into a relationship because of your ostomy.

Please take the poll and leave a comment if you would like.

Hi Chet,

Welcome to the site. The poll is interesting, but somehow there aren't enough questions. My ostomy has affected my life, which in turn has affected my relationship/marriage. I have learned what a wonderful, loving, supportive husband I have.

That's good to hear that it was a positive in your relationship, rather than a negative.
