Today i have to decide if my C-Ostomy will be reversed or made perm. Ive had 8 Fistula surgeries on my bottom & she really didnt even wanna try this last time.I became incontinent & was having accidents all the time.I begged her to try one last time. No guarantee that its gonna last or how long. My options are to see how long this last surgery will last before breaking down, or just save myself any more bottom surgeries & have one more big one to make Perm. Im not sure what to do & just interested what yall think about it. Ive had an Iliostomy 5 yrs ago for the same r4eason, but it failed again, & thats why i have a C-Ostomy this time.

sometimes I spin a coin on a table, before it settles I call heads or tails to decide yes or no. Then, when it reveals that decision, I check how I feel emotionally..... does it feel right? just saying..

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions, messages, and tips! So many have helped! We are learning as we go, learning the ins and outs of this bag. I have ordered special tape that does not irritate my skin and am now using Domeboro powder before putting on a new bag. My boyfriend says that my skin is so much less red!
Saw an ostomy nurse today; she said my boyfriend is doing everything right. One of my issues is that I am really thin, and my skin is really crinkly due to the surgery. We shall see how this bag goes.
This site is a real blessing. Everyone here is so awesome!
