Need a recommendation for a wet or dry suit. I have a hyper distended abdomen and a shit bag stuck on the front.

Doc said not to get in the lake during the summer as the bacteria could be fatal. Having a marine PWC jet boat business

is kind of tough if you're not able to ride. I've been sticking to the jet boats but want to get back to riding next spring.

Has anyone used a wet suit or dry suit with the bag?

Thanks

Have a look down the page at Jo's post, an article from Ostomy magazine from here in Australia.

Hi JRH, does your poo leak out of your pouch? If not, then the water doesn't get in. I've had my ileostomy for 30 some years and have swum in the ocean, in lakes, and used a hot tub with no problems. I use the pink waterproof tape around the border of the wafer so the edges don't get gooey, the same as when I shower.
