Hello there,

My name is chet. I am traveling to Las Vegas in January for a trade show and wonder if there is anyone from Las Vegas who could show me around, and if anyone has had problems with any airlines or TSA for people with an ostomy.

I no longer live there, so showing you around isn't possible, but if you have particular interests or questions, I may be able to point you in a general direction. FYI, though, I haven't lived there for about 18 years, so my knowledge of specifics is a tad dated.

But, it's not all about ostomy. We talk about everything.

Many come here for advice, others find lasting friendships, and some have even found love.

"This group has been my go-to during my loneliest hours ...", one member said. And it's true, people here are honest and genuinely care.

I'm not going to Vegas anytime soon, have fun! As far as any airport issues, in October, I went to Arkansas for a wedding. When you go through the security scan, all you'll encounter is that the security guards will ask you what is in the area of your ostomy bag. Let them know you have an ostomy bag, and they'll ask if you want to go to a private room for you to show them your bag or they'll do a brief body pat down.
