I just had my colon, rectum, and anus removed and my butt sewed up, but after a week I'm still having drainage from my butt. I feel like I'm sitting in a puddle. Is this normal, and how long after surgery should the drainage stop?

Not normal. Have it looked at.

Ditto. Something is wrong; waste no time calling your surgeon.

Not normal but not unusual to happen; needs looking at to be on the safe side. I had an abscess inside after having mine removed; it took longer to heal, but other than that, no problems since from it.
