I don't have any STDs but was wondering now that I have an ileostomy if there is any that would cause me particular problems with my stoma.
Maybe I am worrying too much but was unsure if things like herpes or even crabs would get under the adhesive part of the pouch, possibly on the stoma itself and be a lot more difficult to deal with than if they were just on the skin in a normal person.
I don't really want to live the life of a monk to avoid this happening so I thought I'd ask.
