Hi,

Some tips & questions,

We just made a couple of long haul flights, my wife used a one piece drainable bag, secured by extra adhesive circles (they make half moon ones but circle is best) also used a plastic retainer ring and velcro belt.

Off we went (as they say in England...belt and braces(suspenders)  tight) we had no problems at all, and we were worried before the trip.

My wife emptied once and we used the spray deoderent and drops in the tiny toilet.

The airlines will allow an extra bag for your medical supplies, just call up customer service.

I guess everyone carries an emergancy bag, remember to pre-cut the bags, you will not get on a plane with sissors they have to be packed in main luggage. we carry small zip-lock bags that are completely air-tight and put our blue bags inside till we can dispose of them correctly...now you know what stays in Vegas!!

Now a question, on a cruise what do you do with the blue bags?

please dont say...wing them overboard  lol

Just put them in a ziplock and dispose in the cabin bathroom bin. Just returned from a 15 day cruise and had no problem. You can also put them in a sanitary napkin bag for disposal. Don't worry. Have fun!!

Very interested in your comments as I am planning a two week Nile Cruise for early next year. How do you dispose of the night drain pouch and tube?  Its obviously larger than a normal pouch - I dont think i would be happy just wrapping it up and placing it in bathroom bin.  I think I would actually be embarrased and putting normal pouches in one - even well wrapped.    I have no problem with flights as I regularly visit my daughter who lives abroad.
