I saw someone went 8 days?
My limit was 5 days. Would be pushing it for 7.
However, I have gone 14 days due to mobility issues and other abnormal circumstances.
What's your limit?

Hi! I'm caring for someone who is about a month out from bladder removal surgery. He has a urostomy bag with a stoma. He has a five-year-old golden retriever whom he adores! I'm 2 weeks post-colostomy surgery and looking for some sort of rehab/exercise program to follow to gradually build back to full activity. Is there any physiotherapist on this forum or anyone who was very active prior to their surgery that has a guideline to follow?
Even just exercises (low weight/body weight) that are deemed safe in terms of hernia prevention.

Just found out Convatec replaced Alkare adhesive remover wipes and Alkare skin barrier wipes with Sion Biotext. Not sure about ingredients and Convatec rep did not even have that info. Although I did ask for a sample of the adhesive remover wipes. Hopefully the ingredients will be on the package.

2 weeks post-reversal. My surgeon said to eat high fiber. I am frustrated. I know my bowels will be erratic, I guess. Frustrated that right now I can't leave the house as I have no bowel control. Anyone gone through this? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel? Was a good candidate for reversal. Not much colon removed. Reversal done laparoscopically was long due to a lot of scar tissue.
