I have had an ostomy for over 30 years and am 68.5 years old. I have Medicare and a Medicare supplement, so I've never had a balance to pay for ostomy supplies. I have used Parthenon for supplies in the past couple of years. Last month, I was required to pay, up front, $375.00+ for my supplies, then they would bill Medicare and supplemental, to see if I'd receive any reimbursement. Friends, be aware that many companies are in a tight financial situation. I have completed all the forms and hope to receive some reimbursement. Who do you get your ostomy supplies from? I can't afford to pay up front when I have complete insurance coverage. I don't feel like I can do business with them again, as they seem nearly insolvent, so I would like to know where you purchase. This tapped out my credit card, so guess what Santa brought me was ostomy stuff, as I can't charge anything else. Blessings, Joan in Colorado.
