Hi guys. I've been with my Rudi (colostomy) for 3 years now. Some days it feels like I am still adjusting. I never was an aggressive person seeking friends or a relationship. I do feel I am missing out or not really trying to seek out someone or a group of friends that really understand what someone with a colostomy or ileostomy is going through. I have had 3 years to adjust, but some days I feel alone in my journey. But all is good. I just hope to find good people to talk to on here. My email is .

Hi Keith,

You found them! There are a lot of good folks on here sharing a common issue... so you're in the right place! Nothing you describe sounds abnormal; we all have days like that. Your email got stripped off... the Overlords don't allow you to post contact information... it's a no-no. You need to send it to individuals via PM. Screw up like that again and you'll be buying everyone a round of ostomy powder! Welcome aboard the Good Ship Lollipop!

Regards,

Bob

Hi Keith, you're in good company here. Like Bob said, you'll find people on here at different times of the day and days with no one around. In the summertime, when people are out and about, there's even less traffic on here.

Welcome, Keith.

Yep, this is the place. No subject is too personal or taboo.
Where else can you talk about poop and everyone thinks it is normal! Lol

We have all been where you are at times, and it helps to have this site to throw it out there.

Welcome Keith, like the others have said, this is a good place to discuss whatever you may have on your mind. Also, to give or get information about any problems you may be having. Best wishes and stay safe.

Hi Keith,

Ditto what everyone else already said. And I mean, we've all been stuck at home for roughly the last year, so really you've had two years to adjust 🤪.

Lots of us have definitely felt the same way, which is probably to some degree or another how we ended up here in the first place.

Welcome aboard!

Hi, I feel the same. It's been 20 years and I've had a reversal. But the good news is I'm still here and am glad for every day and memory I've made these last 20 years.

Howdy Keith... A very warm welcome to this amazing group. We all know and understand what you are going through on the good days and bad because each of us has been there...

It's a roller-coaster ride; hang on and enjoy it... we are still the same as before except with a bag, that's it...

This life is what we make of it... We are all here for you.

Stay strong, smile on.
