Hello everyone,

I’m a long time ostomate and I’m sure your aware that Holister has discontinued their amazing Medical Adhesive Spray 7730. I was completely devastated when I found this out as I have been using this product for years and have yet to find anything like it. If anyone has some suggestions/recommendations on something that’s comparable or that I have tried and have had success with it, I would immensely appreciate you telling me what that product is. Thanks so much in advance and I look forward to hearing back from you.

The first thing I would do is go on eBay and buy a few cans to tide me over. They show it available but pricey at 28$ per can

Hello Jko1029.

I have been researching this since Hollister announced their decision to withdraw 7730. There have been some useful suggestions on past posts about alternative sprays  but I have also been experimenting with double sided sticky tape as an alternative.

The one I found to be most useful is a 2.5inch tape called ‘sookwang’ from Korea.

However, when I finally run out of 7730, I intend to try some of the suggestions about sprays which were sent in an email from Hollister (See; copy of email below). Anyone trying these things might perhaps inform us all of their experiences so that we have some idea of what we are dealing with.

Best wishes

Bill

I use the skin-tac wipes. Have you tried those?

Here is your like-for-like alternative. It is carried by Medical Monks :)
It is the identical formulation as the discontinued 7730
