Does anyone else get red, wet, painful sores close to the belly button or on the tummy? I keep having to change my bag due to this issue as the wafer doesn't stay on. If so, what do you use for them to go away?

Do you happen to be allergic to your wafer?

Hello IzzyVal.

I don't suffer in this way myself but can feel for you.

Bob is probably the best person to answer your question as he has given some really good tips and pointer in the past, gathered from personal experience.

Another approach is to have a look at past posts in; 'COLLECTIONS' (at the top of the page) then 'General Knowledge' then 'skin irritations & other issues'.

I feel sure that there will be lots of useful information for you there

Best wishes

Hi Izzy,

The post Bill is talking about is here: https://www.meetanostomate.org/discussion-forum/viewtopic.php?t=13187

If for some reason that doesn't work, just search for "How to deal with red, weepy, wet irritated skin......really!" and you should find it. I think you'll find the content very helpful. If you have any questions, just shout. I'll be back here later when it gets dark. I need to use the daylight while we still have it. Damn winter.

;O)
