On vacay and barrier rings are melting in the heat. 😳 Any advice other than changing the entire device every second day?

You must be somewhere really hot/humid. I've never had an issue with them melting. 🤔

Hi chicka,

It's more likely the humidity than the heat, but it's easy enough to figure out. Cut a ring in two and put one half in the oven on a sheet or tray and set the temperature to 130F. Put the other ring half in a glass of warm water on the counter and see which one melts. If you have other brands of rings, give one of them a try and see if it fares any better. Otherwise, if your ring is experiencing that much humidity, changing it every other day will be a good break for your skin too! Moisture breeds lots of nasty stuff in an already pretty nasty environment.

If you're away on vacation and that is occurring, try Bob's suggestion. Also, remember to stay hydrated. More importantly, enjoy yourself 🍷
