Watched the Great North Run this morning and I want to try and do it,

I know when you watch an event like that it raises the feeling that, "Oh, I can do that," but I think if I start training now then there's hope.

I'd like to do it for ostomy awareness and go under the total of bag and all.

What do you all think?

Well, I started my training today, no time like the present. I mapped out a mile course, put the joggers and trainers on, and did it, well, nearly did it.

Thanks LadyToSpin, it's a big challenge but I'm so determined, and my aim is to raise ostomy awareness and maybe some cash for charity. Take a look at this year's online event; it's a massive event.
