At 73 years of age, I have been fighting a skin problem around the stoma for about 2 years. I've been going to the wound clinic and dermatologist but with no significant improvement. I've been told that I may have to have the stoma moved. Has anyone else had this problem or can someone advise of a less invasive remedy?

A few questions for you... Are you retracted and leaking? Is that why the skin is irritated? Or are you having an allergic reaction to your appliance?
