Hi everyone, new here. I got my colostomy in 2010 due to an emergency triple A; part of my colon died from lack of blood. I beat the 1/2 to 1 percent chance to make it through, but I did. Starting off years ago, I had a minor problem getting the right appliance to fit without leaking, etc., but it has been really going well for the past 10 years. I have always had the anal discharge around every 2 months, the urge to go, and on and off for a day or two, and then passed a little solid discharge. I got the new version of Covid last week; I went almost 4 years without ever getting it, which makes me a little mad. But, into the third day of Covid, I started getting the urge all day long to poop and a liquid discharge 4-5 times a day, less at night while sleeping. I still have it, but it is a little less today. I am in my 6th day of Covid, feel okay, and also did get on the Paxlovid the same time I started to get the discharge and urge to go all the time. Has anyone else run into this that has had Covid?
