So how much do you use? I put in a couple of squirts. Am I overdoing it? There's a little stink if I just burp the bag.

Morning...

I use M9. It's great. I use it only if I'm going out or for special occasions.

I don't use it every day.

You said you use a few drops? Add a few more to kill that little stink.

I squirt it in the bag... I don't go

by drops. Controls odor 100%.

So your few drops might need a revised action. 👍

Per Hollister, they say 4-12 drops. 🤷‍♂️

That's like with hair shampoo.  The container says "wash, rinse, repeat."  That way you use it up twice as fast and have to buy more.

Way back when, I was told by my hairstylist that any more than a dime-sized amount of shampoo was a waste.

There should be no stink. Use a little more, enjoy life stink-free. M9 has been a great help for me. Before M9 was sold, after I burped my bag, people would walk out of the bathroom coughing or holding their nose with disgust on their face. M9 is a true odor killer.

I use 2 good squirts.  I started out with drops per instructions... not effective.  Also toss in a Tic Tac on occasion.

I also use lubricating deodorizer.

Yep, it does say that, but I find one squeeze of the bottle is more effective. I wish 4-12 drops was enough due to the cost. 🫤

Safe n Simple also makes ostomy bag deodorant 8 oz, $9.99. I used it when I did not have insurance coverage; it does a good job too. My current insurance only covers M9; they most likely have a contract with them.

I use a couple of drops of antibacterial dish soap followed by some water to wash the bag, rinse once or twice, then a drop with a little water to mix with future output and kill the bacteria causing the odor. Even lay down a bit to get it up near the top. Doubles as a pancake eliminator and it washes the bag clean too.

A heck of a lot cheaper, I have a high output otosmy myself so hitting the toilet often.
