What products do you all use to decrease the highly offensive smell that the gas and stool produce from a colostomy?
Thank you.

Hello,

I have a colostomy, 2 years post op. I use M9 deodorizer drops and lubricating deodorizer.

Both available from Hollister.  There are other brands too.  I've only used Hollister.

Available on Amazon, other online retailers, and your Ostomy product supplier.

I use Devrom chewable tablets.  They are great!

Some use tictacs and I have used peppermint lifesavers. It works but not completely.

I’ve used both the M9 and the Adapt.  I tried the Tic Tacs early on but don’t really think they did anything.

Hello, I'm Marguerite. I use the lubricant and deodorant by Coloplast, and it does very well to keep odor down. Put drops inside your bag after each emptying of the bag. Hope this helps!

It's always good to hear from someone who uses a product. Glad it works well for you.
