Hi there. I had my surgery six weeks ago and had my prostate and bladder removed. I am a healthy, active 49-year-old who misses wearing normal clothing. So far, my clothing has been sweatpants and sweatshirts. I will be going to Florida in two months, and I would like to know what kind of shorts I can wear out there. I have both bags, and I am wondering how I can cover them in the hotter weather. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you very much for your time.

Lloyd

Welcome to this site. I had my colostomy last year and had lots of questions to ask. If you would like more information, I would advise you to make it a forum topic. People will be only too willing to help, as not everyone looks at the blogs. Good luck x

Hi Lloyd - welcome and may I say I find it amazing and uplifting to hear of your plan to travel so soon. I agree with Carol - the forum is a good place to get lots more input than the blogs. Also, can you be more specific when you say you have "both bags"? :)
