Hello everybody, I have found a cheap, easy and effective liquid control (thickener) for my output. I have had a problem with it being so watery. Im now using water storing granules commonly used in gardening. I just put about 1/4 of a teaspoon or slightly less if its a bit thicker into my pouch after each empty. It has no effect on the pouch and becomes part of the output so there are no removal problems. I just have to make sure i get them in past the closing mechanism of the pouch and a 1/8th teaspoon is perfect as i can insert/direct it to where it needs to go. Im getting much longer between empties now. Hope this might be able to help some other people too.

If you've had a colostomy or ileostomy, you may experience some common food-related issues.
The good news is that you can avoid them with some small changes in your diet.
