Does anyone have perianal Crohn’s disease and had to undergo fecal diversion and got an illeostomy?

I had this done last month. I had fistulas and had my jpouch disconnected. My rectal and anal area has healed. My surgeon doesn’t know right now if my jpouch can be reconnected. I have another follow up appointment in a few weeks to discuss the next steps. I’m concerned that the inflammation will come back if I get reconnected.

Anyone else going through this?

I had a J-pouch and it was awful; I went back to the ileo. Haven't you had enough?

Did they remove your jpouch or left it in disconnected? Also, do you have a loop illeostomy?

Still there but disconnected. Ileo is actually a loop but the second hole was closed.

Does mucus leak out of the jpouch? Also, can the jpouch stay disconnected, or do you eventually have to have it removed and get the Barbie butt surgery (proctectomy surgery)?
