i know i dont post on here a lot since joining this group but due to unforseen circumstances ive not been able to get on the internet for a while. but i do really need some advice. i have a large hernis developed next to my incission scar which is getting more painful and sticks out a lot more. recently its changed shape and become warm and tender to the touch. i cant afford to take time off work to get the surgery to fix it anytime soon. is there any advice anyone can give on how to handle this?

my doctor has told me to loose wieght but i find it difficult to excecise with this hernia and stoma any tips on that front?

thanks in advance and any help would be great.

Sorry to hear you are finding life so tough. In terms of exercises caution is needed, but I did run across this website that seems to be designed for folk like us:

Get the operation done now!  It will not get better on its own.  You need mesh to be put in.  Check out  TheAmericanOstomyClub.com  for some good help and support.
