Hi, I have an ileo and a large peristomal hernia. I have been having issues lately with my peristomal hernia getting very large. Anyone ever had one? I irrigate, but the last few days the water is just coming back out with very little poo. Then throughout the day, hard small lumps appear in my bag. I have a bad sore from leakage. While waiting for Marathon liquid adhesive to come in the mail, is there anything else I can do or an alternate product I can buy from, say, CVS?

I had my colon removed & ileostomy surgery done in 2021. One week ago, I had my rectum removed and am now left with a Barbie Butt. I think the surgery went well, but things down there are very sore. I'm sure this is to be expected; however, I've noticed a couple of little bumps on the side of the stitches. Was this normal for others? Did others experience a pinching sensation?

Hi! I got my ileostomy 3 months ago. We love to go caravanning (touring caravan). Our caravan does not have air conditioning. Any tips about the best way to keep my ostomy supplies in a caravan that can be super hot and super cold, depending on whatever weather gets thrown at us!

I have had an ileostomy since 2016! I lost my large bowel through UC, which leaves me with the rectum still intact! Lately, I am having problems with my rectum, like more frequent discharge, pressure, a burning sensation, and a feeling of fullness! I have had biopsies done, and everything is normal! I was just wondering if any members have had issues of this nature. I would like to hear from you!

So when I post this I am really just curious... I know it isn't normal lol, but has anyone had, heard, or seen a stoma flip in the opposite direction? Hanging down the way it should, then completely do a 180, a flip all the way back and try and hang backwards lol.

I have been using the same product since 1989. The Hollister #8590 with the rings.
They discontinued my supplies and changed the product to what they refer to as an upgrade, new and improved.

Just wondering if anyone has used both, which one they prefer? I use Cavilon or tincture of benzoin or Brava skin prep or (can't remember what else) ahh Torbot cement, but it's just sitting there, never used it. I like to have as many options as I can in case one decides not to stick for whatever reason, hence my question. Anyone out there?

Hello, I had a transverse colostomy 9 days ago. An ostomy nurse (but no doctor) told me to take Miralax daily. This caused my output to be watery and I had leaks every 3-4 hours even after using a system that has not leaked since I discontinued Miralax. Which begs the question, when would I take Miralax with a transverse colostomy?

Requested a sample of Coloplast product B in the picture. Very streamlined and quite a bit smaller than my current product A in the picture. I am only 5' tall, so this short body loved this smaller pouch.
