Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, so I wanted to ask a question and hopefully get some answers. I wanted to know if any of you drink fizzy drinks such as Coca-Cola or any other of the type, and do you have any problems with it? Are the products a lot the same for ostomy supplies? I can't seem to find anything that works very well with the supplies I am currently using. Very frustrating.

Hi, does anyone who uses an ostomy belt have any advice? I am starting to use Hollister convex with a belt and so far, two days, no leaks!

So I am wondering, during the day my ostomy gives me the raspberries, but the bag doesn't fill up with gas the way it does at night. Overnight and into the wee morning hours, my ostomy manages to fill the bag so full of air that there is no give at all when you press on it. I had colectomy surgery Monday morning, still in the hospital recovering as we speak.
Everything has gone perfectly except for the fact my stoma won't produce anything. Been told this is normal, but it's now edging on 6 days and I know I need to go to the toilet.

I am 15 years out since surgery. I have an ileostomy. Lately, I am having trouble with, I think, fiber. I try to limit it, but I am eating a new bread which has 3 g per slice. How much fiber is too much at one sitting? Unfortunately, I can no longer have pineapple, dried fruits, or certain combos together. What's your experience? Thanks!
