Victoria,

You don't talk too much... I believe Warrior and I have that category fully covered, with Lovely riding shotgun just in case we have off days. Whereabouts in Jersey are you located? I was born and raised up north in Clifton (Passaic County), then moved to Ewing (next to Trenton) for a few years before coming to Maryland in 1994. Actually, instead of asking where in Jersey you are, I should have said... what exit are you? Almost forgot, it's been that long. How many lanes is the Turnpike now... like 10 in each direction?

Regards,

bob

Hi Victoria! Happy New Year to you. I hope 2020 will be a good one for you and all the ostomates. I get carried away sometimes when I post; we all have to get things said at times. Best wishes.

Hello Victoria, and a happy new year to you as well.

As for thinking that you write too much, well! surely that's what a site like this is all about. We correspond with each other in ways that are sometimes not possible with those people who have not had the same sorts of experiences. I hope to hear a lot more from you (and everyone else) in the coming year.

Best wishes

Bill

Hi Lovely, how are you? Thanks for replying back to me! Sometimes I feel as if I only get one reply and it didn't say anything about what I asked, but anyway, I'm just trying to figure out stuff and deal with this new life 😌😊🙏🙏. Hope you have a great year! 2020         Sincerely, Victoria

Hi Bob, I have emailed a lot of letters, which is what I'm saying, and no one replies, so I wanted to say I'm sorry for complaining about my situation. Sometimes I've heard it can be that bad, and if it was... this is what people have said to me! I must say that wasn't nice, but anyway, I know there are all kinds of people in our world, and I also know I wish I could feel better without all this painful stuff I sometimes go through. I know everyone is different! Also, if you have Crohn's or ulcerative colitis, it's different, or 3 surgeries in 7 months in 2017, I know you read my stories. Anyway, I wanted to also say hello and hope you're feeling good! It seems people like perfect people, lol. Well, I know people don't like sickness; people run away! I'm just sitting here thinking 🤔 it's really sad to think how humans treat others... anyway, I don't know why... anyway, hope you have a great day! Sincerely, Victoria

Hello Victoria.
You should not feel the need to be apologetic about verbalising your complaints on this site as surely, this must be one of the reasons for its existence. If I recall, I did write a rhyme about ranting some time back and I will see if I can resurrect the concept to put your mind at rest on this issue. Also, when people have 'chronic' conditions, they are much more likely to get irritated with other things in life as well as the underlying cause of their ongoing disgruntlement. Sometimes this irritation gets diverted in directions which are not immediately apparent. We used to call this 'displacement' and it was often quite difficult to ascertain what was the main, underlying problem, rather than the one that was being 'presented'. With conditions such as ours, it is not difficult to guess what is behind someone's irritations in life, especially when they tell us their horrific background stories.
Best wishes
Bill

VENT A RANT.

I want to rant and scream and shout
and show my discontent.
I want to let the venom out
‘till all of it is spent.

So listen to me rant and rave
then you might understand.
The way you see me now behave
results from life’s crap-hand.

Sometimes I’m sick of all the shit,
the troubles and the strife.
I wish that I was rid of it
the pains and banes of life.

If my life was sweet and fair
I would not need to rant.
Because my life seems so unfair
I just need to decant.

Pour out my feelings one by one
and empty out my soul.
So anyone and everyone
can see in my hellhole.

It does me good to shout and scream
take’s strain from off my brain.
What better way to let off steam
it helps to ease the pain.

Life has been both cruel and mean
to leave me as I am.
So now I need to vent my spleen
as often as I can.

As I say, life has a way
of being most unkind.
A rant a day keeps life at bay
and lifts the troubled mind.

So let us all appreciate
the rant in all its glory.
For rants are so appropriate
to tell a bad, sad story.

Hello Victoria,

Happy New Year to you. Yes, another new year upon us and hopefully another year of good health for all. As I get older, that is my biggest concern as every new year passes. So far, I'm winning that battle :)

Sincerely,

Greg

jstgraces31, if you click on "Find Members" at the top of the page, then click on "Relationship Search," it will take you to where the people that are looking for relationships are. Hope this helps.

I think it's important to have a strong support network, Victoria, and you're always welcome to message me as well. I'm not always able to be here in the online community due to my work schedule and everything that day-to-day chores, etc., include. I know you're a super sweet lady and I understand how tough things can be, those "defining moments" in our lives. The good news is that we can choose how to view our circumstances, and we can also choose how to respond to them. You're never going through things alone; this amazing community of wonderful members is here. Thank you to everyone for being so terrific. 🙂
