I named my colostomy Lulu which arrived this past April. I use the pre cut one piece colostomy bags without any difficulty until lately. Now, I have a stinging or burning sensation when I touch or manipulate the appliance. Anyone have a similar problem or solution. Any suggestions ??????????

Problems happen when your stool touches and lies against your skin

around your stoma. The stool is full of acid used for digestive purposes

in your tummy and causes sores to develop. A good skin-prep is needed

and change often and the infected area will clear up.
