I've recently had a reversal and have quite a lot of leftover products... anyone know the best thing to do with them? Thanks

Quite a few UK charities are collecting them to send to third-world countries. My own personal choice is Jacob's Wishing Well. If you google their name, you can see their address to post to. As they are all charities, you have to pay the postage. If you have a local IA group, they often know of someone collecting locally, that way you don't have to pay to post.

First off, this is a pretty cool site with 39,591 members.

But, it's not all about ostomy. We talk about everything.

Many come here for advice, others find lasting friendships, and some have even found love.

"This group has been my go-to during my loneliest hours ...", one member said. And it's true, people here are honest and genuinely care.

My local stoma nurses collect surplus equipment and send it somewhere.
I feel sure that other stoma nurses may well have similar schemes. Perhaps if you contact them locally to you they will be of help.
Best wishes

I agree with Bill. Every month I get way too many supplies, which my health insurance covers. Every few months, I take the excess supplies to my Outpatient Ostomy Center and donate them. Many of their patients have no coverage for their supplies and have to pay 100 percent out of pocket. I get a good feeling helping those less fortunate!

The ostomy care center in Southern Maine says they are not allowed to accept donated supplies due to potential liability issues. I found other places in the USA online. Being new to the whole business, when I was organizing my supplies, I discarded the original packaging, and my excess supplies have no lot number or expiration dates. Some places will not accept donations of loose supplies without that information.
