After a couple decades of unexplained stomach and bowel issues I had a loop ileostomy done last Nov. Made me feel so much better that did a "robotic" total ostomy this past May. Had a large amount of unexpected adhesions in my abdomen area. At that the time my surgeon said it would be good to have a "Barbie Butt" procedure in the future. I am feeling great and ready to move on with life but seriously considering the last surgery in the near future. I am 58 years old and have had diabetes for 42 years and still very active. My questions are.....Has anyone had their rectal stump and anus removed robotically? After anus is removed I understand you are "closed", but will you still have two tushes (an indentation between your lower cheeks)?
