Hi,

Has anyone had their pouch disconnected and then reconnected again later on? Mine was disconnected and I currently have a loop illeostomy.

G-Day AJR,  I had a J-Pouch for 18 years and could not wait to get rid of it, and no way would I ever go back to one. My Ileostomy is a life changer, I love it. Regards IGGIE

Hello AJR

There would have to be a non surgical miracle solution before I would go back to a jpouch.

Hi Iggie,

what problems did you have with your jpouch? Why would you not go back to it?
