Has anyone ever tried to swap unused appliances (flanges)? I have a

load of flanges that are flat and I am using the convex ones now and I was wondering if I could swap them out for the convex?

It might be a bit difficult to exchange the flanges from the place you purchased them from unless they are FACTORY SEALED.

However you can certainly privately exchange with Ostomy wearers in your local area.

How about donating to your hospital?  I had quite a few that didn't work for me, and they loved the extra bags!

Also check for your local Ostomy group. Our local group has a barter program.

Have a great day

Yep the flanges are still factory sealed - I will have to start paying for the supplies soon - that's why I did not want to donate them - I thought if worse comes to worse I can try to mold the eakin seals into a convex shape and try that. Thanks for the advice.
