Has anyone else come across pouch covers made by a firm called Oh! Poo? They are hilarious - really funny designs, and you can empty bags while wearing them. There's one with a Union Jack design and as I'm British and proud of it, I shall have to get one. Some of the designs would make "intimate moments" great fun instead of being embarrassing!

I just googled Oh Poo & had a look. These designs are fantastic & are made & shipped by the designer from the United Arab Emirates. A shipping charge is included.
They are so funny, I really liked the Union Jack, the Santa Claus Face & my very favorite the Gas Mask!!!

I can see these pouch covers brightening anybody's day. The designer is an Ostomate so has firsthand knowledge of the needs of the product.

Now I know what I want for Christmas......

Oh yeah—Postal Strike—I'm in the UK also, Gloucestershire—Back to Snail Mail—With any luck, they may ship by courier company—UPS or TNT or one of the smaller companies. Anyway, fingers crossed.

Belinda, I looked up the site; those bag covers are a hoot!!! I have an ileostomy myself, and as a nurse, I often share and do almost all of our ostomy teaching at our hospital. I was joking with a married couple—the wife had a new ostomy. I was introducing the subject of intimacy and said maybe she could get a jeweled pouch cover. I had no idea that it was possible to buy them. Ha!!!

eddie -  I'm awaiting my Union Jack one. and have written to Ohpoo suggesting they do some more "girly" ones, as some of them are not exactly pretty! They seem to think it's a good idea, as they're hoping to expand their range.

For anyone who prefers a more plain design www.ostomycoversbylinda.co.uk made by another ostomist. They're also easy to wash.

Just to say that my Union Jack ostomy bag cover arrived this morning from Oh! Poo, and it is fabulous. Winnie, my stoma, looks very smart and oh so patriotic! Don't know how they managed to get it to Britain from Abu Dhabi so fast, but am very impressed.

I will have to go look on that website to see if I can get the Welsh dragon pouch cover. I am just recovering after having my rectum removed, so my colostomy bag (which was only supposed to be temporary) is with me for life. It's been hard to accept, but with the help from all you lovely people on this site that share tips and stories, life is brighter. Thank you so much.

Yeah - same here, almost. Permanent ileo because of UC, then rectum removed 3 months later. Keep smiling! And buy that bag cover. They're fun, and we could do with some fun.

Hi Belinda, how are things going for you? Good, I hope. You sound pretty chirpy. Anyway, I checked out that site and it was way cool. Like most so far, I liked the gas mask and the... oh poop, there was another one. It will come to me after I leave here, you watch. But also, they look easy enough to make. Being on the bones of my bum at the moment, I might try. It's pretty close to what I made when I first got this, but I had it so it attached to the osty-belt. Not sure about other countries, but I can't say I have ever seen anyone wear their bag, with or without a cover, on the outside, not if they can help it anyway. I'd love to see a lady walking down the street with it there with a cool cover on it. I'd be right out there then too... well, maybe. LMAO. Anyway, thanks for the link, it was nice to see people trying. Take care.

Hi Tara - good to hear from you. Hope things are OK with you. Is it summer in Cairns, or spring, or what? It's autumn here and the trees are looking gorgeous. Talking of looking gorgeous, the people on the IA site here in Britain - iasupport.org - bet me I wouldn't dare model my new Union Jack bag cover, so I did. So if you want to see me wearing it OUTSIDE my clothes, see if you can get to the above site, go to the forums, down the list of topics to Chit-chat, and click on Gallery - pictures only please. It caused a bit of hilarity. Think I had your email address once but can't find it, or I'd have emailed it to you. Take care, love. Ta-ra for now. Belinda.

Hi again, Belinda: Man oh man, this topic has got me thinking. I can think of so many politicians and financial CEOs that would be a perfect fit for these pouch covers, don't you think?

Better shut up, or I'll be on one of them.

Really cute covers! But they are way overpriced, even if they are handmade. With the horrid currency exchange from pounds to American dollars, almost 40 bucks for a pouch cover is totally unreasonable.
