I am having surgery in April to move the ileostomy to the left side of abdomen as well as an abdominal hernia repair and stoma prolapse repair. I'm wondering if anyone has had this surgery and how successful it was. Hope to hear from someone.

I have not but I have a friend who has from cancer and radiation poisoning. She has no problem with it. See what they can give you for location choices and pick what is best for you. Good luck!
