Can You Swim with a Stoma Support Band?

hi  today I got a support band to wear over my stoma,

does anyone know if you can wear this for swimming 

says nothing in the instructions about this ?

Hello Victor. Apart from the obvious thing - that it will get wet (which it does anyway when you wash it) I cannot see any reason why you should not wear the support band for swimming. However, as with most things to do with stomas, it is mostly about experimenting to see what works and what doesn't. Give it a go and see what happens.

If you haven't tried wearing it swimming yet why don't you see it the maker or manufacturer has some information about their product online?
