My wife keeps reminding me that too; I'm alive!

By the way, I love the Bellingham area. I used to go there every spring for computer nerd conferences at BTC. If you've never visited the Sparks Electronics Museum, you need to! ⚡🪫💡🎇

Eight years now, and I do everything I used to do beforehand with some slight adjustments. I forget it's even there most of the time. I don't have time to waste thinking about my stoma; I've got things to do and places to go. 😀

That’s what happened to me too.  The radiation “melted” the intestines so that lots of spots closed up causing obstructions.  Unfortunately 1.5 years later,  I am still having it happen and get to be scoped every 3 months to deal with these areas by dilating them open & draining the blood.

But,  I’m still here so I guess that’s still a good trade.
