I have read many of your blogs with interest, but never written one, so I am a bit nervous but here goes. It's good to read about other people's experiences, but so far haven't

read anything that I can relate to. I went from completely healthy to being diagnosed with bladder cancer, & required removal of the bladder & a lot of other bits. A new

bladder was formed from the colon and I have a stoma which I catheterize every 3 to 4 hours day & night. I am really over the worst of it & I know I am lucky but I would

like to talk to others who have had the same operation. It's unusual for women to have this done in the UK (mine was done in the USA) & I would like to hear from others.
