I would greatly appreciate your thoughts. Its been about 6 months since my colostomy surgery. I had colon cancer that grew low enough that my rectum and anus were removed. I now have a complete sewn up barbie butt. I have most of my colon except the lower parts removed. I had a cat scan a few months ago to determine cause of a lot of pressure around my stoma and stomach pains. No hernia reported just a full colon. Taking supplements to help keep things moving. The pains have subsided except occasionally. The cat scan did show my colon had prolapsed some. (I assumed that was normal after rerouting my colon to my stoma). I recently started having alot of pressure on my barbie butt to the point it affects my quality of life. I have started pelvic floor exercises but nothing improves quickly. Anyone deal with this issue? Does a prolapsed colon have to be repaired surgically? Anyone know a complete exercise video for pelvic floor strengthening that might help? So many youtube videos are mostly talking. I just want a simple routine to do daily to help without having to fast forward through videos or use multiple videos for a complete workout. In the past you have been amazingly helpful. I really appreciate all of your advice and kind words of encouragement. They meant so much to me when I was new and adjusting to my new normal. You guys rock!!! Thank you so much!!!

If you've had a colostomy or ileostomy, you may experience some common food-related issues.
The good news is that you can avoid them with some small changes in your diet.
