I have lived in the North East of England for a couple of years now and am wondering if anyone knows of any stoma groups in the north east/Newcastle Upon Tyne area? I am from Nottinghamshire originally and was involved in a couple of groups when I lived there and it was a great way of making new friends
MeetAnOstoMate.org is the only place where people truly understand you. It's because everyone here has an ostomy.
Many come here for advice or to give advice, others have found good friends, and some have even built long-lasting relationships.
Privacy is very important - there are many features only visible to members.
Just did a quick search. The nearest groups I can see online are in the Co Durham area. There are three groups around there; contact details are on Colostomy UK.
