I just returned from a 3 week holiday in Belize,  I took 10 flanges and about 60 pouches with me.  Even so, I was blowing through flanges like crazy.  It was extrememly hot and humid and we were very active (jungle tours).  I barely had enough flanges.  Sometimes they would only last 24 hours.  Usually they last 5 days. Next time I am taking one for each day I am away!

Funnygirl,

That has always been my plan, one complete set up (flange and appliance) for each day. This has never failed me.

Hi...I don,t know if you tape the sides, top, bottom around the wafer but it will surely help extend the life of the wafer. Tape it when the skin in dry and use a tape such as 3M Transpore tape..its commonly uses in hospitals. I will often tape a new wafer for 21 hrs especially when it is hot...it helps set the wafer to the skin. I usually go 6-7 days between changes and i keep pretty active... hope this helps.
