Any recommendations for cheaper places for buying supplies out of pocket?
Insurance only covers bags/wafers, but I need powder, Eakin seals, etc. Tried ordering from Amazon; quality was terrible.

Hi again! Today makes 3 months with my ileostomy! The only vegetable I have eaten is green beans and potatoes ;( !!! And mostly chicken as far as meats go! I have been scared to try any other veggies! Help!???

I had my initial surgery last July due to vulvar cancer that had spread to my rectum. I also had a Foley catheter up until last Thursday when I had the suprapubic procedure. I am curious about swimming and any water activities. If anyone has heard of or been through something like this, I would appreciate your feedback.

Has anyone woken up to have the flange breached and output from the stoma coming out on the abdomen and clothes?

Hi. Just wanted to ask people, is it really possible to date when you have a bag? From things I have read on this
site, the answer is no. People say it's either too hard to tell people about the bag or they run for the hills once they find out. Don't get the wrong idea. I myself cannot think of dating again. I am having a hard time dealing with my own bag. But I wonder what other people think.
