Hi everyone, I just underwent an ostomy reversal. They were able to reverse my ileostomy, close me up, and put me back together. I just wanted to know if anyone knows where I can donate wafers and bags. The hospital won't take them here where I'm at, and I don't want to just throw them away. If anyone has a suggestion on where I can do this, please let me know.

I donated mine to the local Ostomy Support Group here in Cowtown.

Kindredbox.org, or ostomy nurses, usually help out those in need.

I also collect donated supplies and get them to folks who need them. Sometimes supplies go to folks from this site and others are people in my local area. If you do not find anyone else to donate them to, I would gladly take them and get them to someone who needs them.

I gave my extras to the ostomy/wound care nurse. She redistributes them as needed by others.
