Hi everyone! I just found this site and I got my reversal of my ileostomy on Monday last week. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help me out?
I've been struggling with finding foods that are good for me because I've been back and forth from the bathroom a lot more than I think I should.
If anyone has any advice or tips, feel free to let me know! Thanks!

Hey OstoMates! I have a question for the men of this site that I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with!
My body is fairly hairy, in particular my abdomen, which is obviously where my stoma is located. Obviously, this can affect adhesion of the bags to the skin.

I've been on a liquid diet for the last 3 days due to a suspected partial blockage.

The blockage came through a few days back, so today I have had toast for breakfast, some chicken, some plain pasta, and a ham sandwich in total today. This may sound stupid but can we strangulate our stoma with cutting the wafer too small? My Stoma moves all the time is that normal.

I got an ostomy belt a few weeks ago. While I wear it out, I've never slept in it. I’ve had Crohn’s since I was about 12. Always struggled to gain weight. Even since my Ileostomy when I was 22 , I have never really experienced much weight gain.
I’m about 5ft 8 and 10 st (140lb). Heaviest I’ve ever been was around 11st , but literally had to eat every minute I was awake.

Wondering if any permanent ileostomy patients have tried any of the new weight loss drugs and if so, do they work the same as they do for normal patients; i.e. can they be absorbed normally for us? Anyone who’s tried them tell me what your experience has been. Thanks.
